I think gransfors bruks uses L6 for their axes.
I think most companies avoid L6 because it's so rust prone. Too many laypersons will view a company negatively for something like that.

You might wanna check L6 equivalents as well. It has plenty of other names and often makers use alloys with proprietary name or in foreign countries using local standards.
Here - L6 steel and equivalents.

I had heard that Svord uses L6, or an equivalent steel, for a lot of their knives. I do not know for sure, though.

The original Gerber Mark II and Mark i were made from L6 up until around 80-81.

Eight Dollar Mountain Foundry used L6 in their knives. I've got a 10" Smatchet from EDMF that's a beast. I love L6, especially for tree-beaters, but it will rust fast in the right environment.
A Little of topic. David Farmer a knifemaker on the Fixed Blades fs quite often uses L6 on his knives. Very resonable prices on his fb IMO.
My Dave Farmer knife is also L6...full convex=wicked slicer. FES
