    what do you guys think?

Picked up a resilience a few days ago. I have been in a terrible mood recently because i caught walking pneumonia so besides going to work i have been just taking it easy at home. I was so bored i was no longer entertained watching tv flicking this knife around. and i always liked the jimping on the manix 2. so i made my way to the garage and grabbed my files. it was my 1st attempt to ever "MOD" a knife. it kept me busy for a few hours i eventually gave up after my finger started hurting from the pressure lol.

i filed out jimping in the liners and g10 scales. i also stone washed all the metal on the knife.

how did i do for 1st ill attempt. (ill literally too haha)

if i didnt stone wash the liners you would certainly be able to see the slips i had. i have been coughing my head off and every time i would slip out of the slot and scratch the liner lol.

i threw a fresh edge on it too, now i just need to figure out how to make this detent a little less serious. its almost impossible to flick out with a finger on the non locking side of the blade. im about to sand the detent ball a little

I dig it. you should go for the gusto and make your own scales for it start to finish. I started doing that about a year ago, its great fun!

also stuff like this should be in the "maintenance, tinkering, and embellishing" section I believe

thats awesome dude. that jimping is really great. I would love to do something like that to mine.
