Any one use DAIWA products to lube their folders?

What would be better to use their oil or grease?

In my experience, grease is ALWAYS better than oil for knives, but I have never tried this Daiwa stuff... supposed to be pretty good. I have found that the main problem is finding something that allows the detent ball to glide freely/smoothly/silently over the blade when opening and closing it. Most of my knives the blade swings freely when there is no pressure from the detent ball, so I have found this to be a critical contact in determining smoothness.

It is my understanding from the fishing forums that Daiwa oil is just mineral oil in a nice applicator. I use Daiwa oil and grease on my fishing reels.
