CPM D2, layered carbon fiber and orange G-10 slabs, stone wash.....

Haven't posted anything in a while so thought I'd share some pics. Just finished this Model One for Vince at Fort Henry Custom Knives. Stone washed CPM D2, layered carbon fiber/orange G-10 handle slabs with thick blue G-10 liners. Really loving the orange and carbon fiber material. It costs an arm and a leg, but has an awesome look to it when finished.

    Thanks for looking.

I just saw this on FB...I'm waiting for the larger version with the blue G10 instead of orange over CF...and maybe elmax instead of D2 so it matches the one I have.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you find that type of CF?

    Thanks a lot guys!

Opticon, Tracy at USA Knifemaker has it. It's out there at other places as well, but not in the 3/16" thickness like this.

Cool little knife, Jonny. The orange on blue really makes it POP.

Lookin' good Jon. You always have the coolest backgrounds in your shots, too... my sad old weather-beaten deck just doesn't compare

VERY nice looking knife Jonny. The grinds look great as does the orange/carbon fiber combination.
