David this knife is gorgeous!
Hello BF,
Here's a big Bowie knife I'm just finishing that I hope someone will really enjoy.
It's 15.5" long with a 10" blade of W2 carbon steel. Blade is double ground, differentially heat treated with clay for nice temper line and acid etched for patina.
The guard, ferrules, pommel and pommel nut are all raindrop Damascus and the file worked spacer is of 15n20 high nickel steel. The handle is a great piece of fossilized Oosik from Mark Knapp and has been professionally stabilized by WSSI. The sheath is Wickett and Craig 10 oz leather with a beltloop.
I'm asking WITHDRAWN. I accept check, MO, or Paypal. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks for looking.

Whoa! That is a BIG BOY. Nicely done traditional knife.
Beautiful knife, I love that last little sweep up at the very tip of the blade, great lines. Beautiful handle.

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

Hi David, very nice knife, just love everything about it.
I am from Australia and was wondering if you would consider shipping it here and if so how much would it be, also you mentioned that the blade was double ground, was just wondering if that meant it has a cutting edge on either side like a dagger, as they would not allow that into Australia, if its only a false edge that will be fine.
Anyway please let me know as I am interested in your work, thanks for your time, much appreciated.
You only live once, make the most out of it.
AMAZING! and a good price too considering how hard it is(no pun intended) to get a hold of an Oosik(all pun intended))
very nice blade, love the profile of it, and the oosik looks beautiful too.
Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like the knife and I really do appreciate the positive comments.
