I can think of almost nothing I need less than a bayonet of any kind... But there's people who would be an INFI trailer hitch, so I say make em!

I think you could make a good bayonet starting with the DSF design.

When is the last time an American soldier was involved in a battle that involved a fixed bayonet?

An infi lawnmower blade would be more useful IMO.

When i was in, I encountered several CoCs that would not allow Soldiers to have any fixed blade side from the bayonet..

when you have a mob of a thousand zombies comin at you and you have say 500 rounds of ammo on your person which is alot you can either try to shoot two zombies with each shot- good luck- ....or shoot and run at the same time- remember to keep up your CARDIO- and when the fast ones get close, you can use the bayonet- stabbing in the head is the most effective method as far as I know. It's safer than just having a knife in your hand because with the bayonet you have reach-making it less likely to get bit and we all know what happens when you get bit by a zombie, don't we? DUUUUHHH!!! So I say Scout's got a good point and a good request. I'd throw one on for my next rifle match just for kicks- RO would probably make me take it off though...unless of course he was a retired Marine or something like that.

Something like the Ontario Marine Bayonet would be nice. We could attach it to our AR-15 in case the zombies overrun our perimeter
