KaBar Penetration

these are from 15 feet away, in to solid pine.

ive got the videos for the next two to prove that there legit, for practicing i bairly throw them but those are thrown with all my strength.

i practice 7-8 hours daily throwing kabars and i carry a kabar with me where ever i go, its the best work knife that ive ever owned. ive got some pretty good videos including me pinning dinner (fox squirl) to a tree at 25 feet or so away if any one wants to host them.

Wow....8 hours a day?

I didn't know that the Kabar was a good thrower...

I would be very surprised if the K-Bar would hold up to such treatment for very long. Having some experience with tossing cutlery, I know that the stresses and damage inflicted on throwing knives is extreme.

In fact, the one in the photograph is suspiciously pristine. Perhaps he started with a new one....

yes, its a fairly new one. that knife has lasted me several months so far and hasent broken, that knife has been my main thrower sence i baught it. i practice probably to much, last month i practiced for 248 hours. ive got targets set up at work and several around the house including the one next to the big screen pictured there

Kraton G handled kabars hold up verry well to throwing, ive herd they hold up better than the leather ive got pictured there because the handle absorbes the shock but ive never broken eather kind of kabar so it dosent really bother me that much. the worst damage ive done to one is a nick here and there and a loose pin in the butt of one of my older kabars.

when ever i nick them i blue the damaged area and then polish it so unless its in the right light you wont see much damage to any of my 1095 knives on camera. that knife pictured has more missing coating than apears.
