SOG Mini Pentagon knife - What is edge length? - not blade

What is the actual cutting/sharpened edge length (cutting surface) of the SOG Mini Pentagon knife?

I see the the description has a blade length of 3.5". But from the photos it looks like the cutting/sharpened edge length might be less.

From the pics, it looks like its probably a total loss of only 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch. Not enough to worry about IMO.

Good point. I guess th only real way to know would be to handle one and see if it bothers you.

I just measured my Mini Pentagon. The blade is about 3.5" and the cutting edge is about 2.5".

Cutting edge on the Pentagon is about 4" and the blade is about 5". The Pentagon Elite II edge is about 4.75" and the blade 5". Don't have a PEI or I'd give it's aproxamate numbers.

Thanks very much - I'm looking for a boot/neck knife and the mini was looking good. But I would like a 3" blade with 3" of a cutting edge.
