SOG Trident S2 (Seki)

Hi, has anyone got the specs for the SOG Trident S2 (Seki). I can find specs on the version 2 but not the original. Well actually I found a couple of pages on the net that say they are S2 specs but then quote AUS 8 steel, but Im sure the steel is SEKI - Japan?

The reason is I found a mint condition one (never used or sharpened) in a cupboard complete with box etc I bought years ago and forgot about. It is surplus to requirements and therefore I may sell it, obviously having the right info helps though

Any help would be greatly received.

thanks

Back when the Trident was a good knife .......

Here is a scan of a 1992 Cutlery Shoppe catalog showing that the Trident S2 has a blade made of AUS-8A @ Rc57 - 58.

That was back when SOG made good knives. I have a couple of them myself.

Seki is the place of manufacture (in Japan), not a type of steel
