Anyone interested in a flat ground version?

For the most part, it will still be the same knife and will fit in the same sheath.

But now there will be a return to the FULLY CONTOURED handle with palm swell and tapered fronts.

Another change is only 1 pin up front and a lanyard tube in back.

Last but not least is the jimping. I've gone back and forth on this many times and the best jimping by far is what I now have on my EDC and MUCK knives. So, this one gets it too.

Overall = 8.5"
Blade = 4", flat grind, stone-tumbled finish :eek:
Handle = 4.5", contoured/palm swell





I am using CPM 3V steel that is 0.150" thick. Will cut like a laser and with 3V there's no worry about strength...even flat ground at that thickness. :cool:

It would be ground like the BushMaster - all the way to the top.


It will also have the same ultra-durable stone-tumbled finish that the BushMaster has. :cool:


I already have enough steel to cut 35 blanks.

12/08/10 - All blanks ground to 60 grit (preparing for stone-tumbling)
12/17/10 - Blanks are being stone-tumbled

Yes - fully contoured from 3/8" handle slabs. They will be a little thinner than the 2009 version with the contouring, but thicker than the 1st Gen Bushcraft.
