Is it possible to build an Alox with scissors? Something like a Farmer with scissors in place of the saw blade.

to say it clear: no

the 91mm and 93mm parts cant be mixed as there are differences between these two systems. there is no 93mm scissor and the factory do not see any sense in offer these.

some few people did alter alox sak and that allways end with poor quality - way less we swiss are famous for - and void factory warranty and i never would buy or use sompthing like that.

I have a Farmer with scissors
It's great
Just to make it clear, the "Farmer with scissors" is typically assembled using 91mm backspring, designed for 4-pin arrangement, and the multipurpose hook in the back. In this mod, the backspring is wedged against the middle pin, and the hook has to be omitted, leaving a gap (and exposed pin) in the back.

Working closely with Victorinox, and respecting design and function of Swiss Army Knives, Swissbianco takes a strong position against mods that a) combine parts from incompatible frames; and b) use non-factory parts (in this case, pins). As a result, we would like to respectfully ask members to refrain from discussing such mods in this forum.
