Anything wrong you guys can see from this torch kit?

I decided I'll do my own heat treating on my first knife so I'm going to make a coffee/paint can forge. I think I can find some kaowool in small quantity around pittsburgh so I wanted to know if you guys saw any issues using this torch kit:

alternatively - I have one of these already that work with the $2-3 bottles in the plumbers section of loews/hd

The Jt680 is not good. It just doesn't have the BTU output that you need. Try this one. It will put out 2x as many BTU as the JT680. Drill out the orifice to .35mm and it will double again. You can get a .35mm carbide micro drill grab bag from HF. I've ran it for over an hour and it never boiled water at the valve so the orifice mod doesn't cause it to overheat.
