I've already designed a khuk like you described and had Salem Straub of Forged in Fire fame make a prototype. It's become my favourite all around trail blazing tool- and the LC is no slouch!
Lorien , any plans to productionize the khuk so we can all enjoy it too?I've already designed a khuk like you described and had Salem Straub of Forged in Fire fame make a prototype. It's become my favourite all around trail blazing tool- and the LC is no slouch!
Thanks bud!I can guarantee there's a lot of user skill involved in that, as well as a good knife. Nice work
What's wrong with those? They seem like useful shapes and they look nice. Them be knives fo' cuttin' and doin'.

I may get laughed off this subforum for this but here goes..
I just received a pair of Jeff White knives. For what you pay, (under $150 for the pair of them) they're going to quickly become amongst my favorites simply for the fact that I can do anything I want to them and lend them to anyone I want and not fear what happens.
It's a great little blade. I noticed the tip, and wondered about that. It is awesomely sharp otherwise. Let is know how it does, and how the edge performs. My wife wants a little paring knife similar. I am making one in AEB-LBrian77 rehandled this Kyocera Kyotop ceramic paring knife for me (arrived today). Factory blunted at the tip and heel, I'll have to figure out how to sharpen them to a satisfactory edge
