I think a Benchmade "Butterfly" shield would really be cool on this model.

And photoman is right, the new "first production" markings are way better than the old. Much nicer.
 
Since when is an almost 3" blade tiny?? What do you guys consider a practical pocket knife blade size? 6"?
 
I purchased one in each handle material I liked this knife so much. I do prefer the G-10 over the micarta, only because the micarta seems to stain from the pivot lube and even hand sweat and oil. I may someday try and polish the micarta to seal it up.
 
Part of what I love about Micarta is how it weathers and darkens. No two 319's will ever be the same as a result.
