any info about the 055 I'v seen it today for the first time it's very nice , so what's his story (mybe some pics?!)

It was introduced in 2005, and there are a few different variations out there. Came out of the box shaving sharp, fit and finish was outstanding. The little Bucks (55, 503, 505) are wonderful knives.

I've got a few pictures somewhere... not the greatest quality, but it'll give you an idea about the knife.

i can add there is the one pictured , one with the state of idaho's shape cutout in the blade , and one with the ironwood scales , and another with black micarta scales (still dont have this one)
while i havent actually used the 55 , in this size of knife i seem to much prefer the droppoint blade of the 500 series which psychopomp was nice enough to post so the side by side pics show you basically the same size but two totally different blades
and i can also add no sheaths come with the 55 but there is a pouch style you can get

me too. I love the little 55, but prefer to carry and use the 503 when I'm in the mood for a small knife. The 503 is a much better slicer.

I didn't know about the micarta 55. I've got to try to find one to go with my little micarta 503.

it's not on the buck site (the 55)?.
i like it alot, i'll order one after my 110 cames :)
