Hey there proud fellow Texan!
Love the knife, have 1 now that I use as my EDC and just ordered a second to stash back as a spare in case they ever discontinue it and anything happens to the first. I know after researching and reading some on the Jolt that it ended up somehow being 1/2 inch shorter than you had originally submitted... did you ever find out exactly why the blade was shortened on the production models?
Being unable to ever afford a real one from you =o( I'm wondering if there was ever any talk of correcting the production blade length in the future or possibly coming out with a JoltII that had the longer blade? Don't get me wrong, it really is my favorite knife, but it would be even more spectacular with a 4 inch blade.
