I don't think an auto-hamon is possible in an air hardening steel.
My suspicion is it is a manufacturing/rolling artifact.
more extreme then im used to seeing but could be. all none PM steels can have this happen. i know for sure i could look at cpm154 vs 154cm and tell the difference
