How To Is there an easy, effective way to change G10 color?

I know this have been asked before, but I wanted to see if anyone has successfully changed black G10 to some other color. If so, please say how you did it. Does any service provider do this?
The only thing I know about is the RIT Dye in hot water approach, but I am not sure if that will work in my case since I want to change color from black. I have thought about bleach and water soak to lighten the black color, but am concerned that it might damage the G10.

Any ideas?

can't really dye g10 lighter, just darker

it would just be easier to make new G10 scales in the color choice you wanted (assuming the scales can be replaced.
