Legit Bob Kramer? knock off?

Been looking to get a zwilling bob kramer chef knife.. and saw it as an import on Amazon for a fraction of normal retailer's price.. (normally 430$)
I found "Amazon Japan" selling from Japan for only $254

Im leary.. what is the catch? counterfit? secondss? no warranty? all of the above? Anyone have experience with this type of thing?

Is this the Euroline damascus one? I got one for half the retail price on ebay, and it doesn't seem that unusual to score a similar deal on one of these. The carbon steel ones don't seem to get the same discounts, though. I looked around and couldn't find any examples of convincing fakes floating around. I'm guessing the warranty isn't there, though, and many of these including mine have a slight warp around the tip. If you're willing to deal with that, though, they're great knives. I really like the tall and thin profile.

You might want to hold one before ordering. I found one at a local store, and the tang sat very proud of the side/slab handles. I was disappointed. Beautiful knife otherwise.
