Mike Snody MasterMind Grinding Jig Video Part II

Thanks for purchasing and using the Snody Mastermind, it's the most important tool for any knifemaker. I am pretty sure that the pins are heat treated stop pins in 3/8", I will check with Mike to get a more exact answer for you. Thanks! :)

Just started using my Mastermind jig, and love it for hollow chisel grinds, but what is the best pin stock size to use with the holes in the jig,
I'm currently using small screws but would prefer to use snug fitting pins as Snody appears to be using in the vidoes.
 
Mike said the actual sizes of the holes are 1/8" and 3/16" and that his favorite material to use is carbon fiber or g10 pins. :D
 
Thanks for the info, I had trouble getting those sizes to fit but have not tried to tap the pins in, I'll try that later, the tolerance on the holes are tight but that's a good thing on any thing custom. Thanks again.
