Hey guys, new to the forum. Just looking for some info as far as knife collect-ability goes.
My father worked for Crucible Steel for almost 45 years. Crucible is the company that has patented/makes the various high quality knife steels that Spyderco and many other custom knife manufacturers use (S30V, S35VN, S110V, M4, etc)
Spyderco made some Native 5 (S35VN) with FRN grips for some of the guys where my dad works. Its pretty much a stock Native 5 with the exception that Spyderco stamped Crucible Steels name and logo on the blade.
With Crucible being so well known in the knife community, and with so few of these knives having been made with the logo stamped on the blade, would that make this knife more collectible? Is it worth any more than a normal Native 5? Or does having the logo stamped on the blade meaningless as far as the collectible world is concerned?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and help
