    For all you lucky buggers heading to the Nessie weekend, what are you taking?

    As I am not a good swimmer (over distance anyways), I will have to wait for the photos when you lads get back. :(

    Anyways, here is a nice one from BRKT thats here any day, however I would probably take the one Matt is making for me right now...;

    Hollowdweller,

    Who made the nessmuk with the striped maple handle and fancy pins? I really like that one. I am still waiting for one from DC, but I don't know if I will ever see that one.

    Chudzinski. It's my favorite one. Not so much because of the handle and pins but it is thin bladed and the whole design is very ergonomic.

    While you are waiting Fiddleback's are very similar.

    That collection HD just keeps getting better. That first shot is really well done. Kinda sums up the whole thing up, Mr Sears is smiling somewhere.

    :( Ugh, no wonder I liked it. Well, it is no wonder it is such a good user, but the handle and pins put it over the top when it comes to aesthetics.

    I hope to one day get my knife. When he sent it to me, it came with the wrong handle wood, so I called him and he said it was no problem, that it was just a mix up. So I returned it to him. Now I can't reach him and it is running on two years since I sent it back... I wish I had heard all the stuff on this forum before sending it back, but I had no idea. Now I kick myself.

    By the way, I just posted a want message for a Chudzinski Nessmuk, so if any one has one they want to sell, please contact me.

    Yeah, those are some nice knives, Andy. As I had mentioned in my email to you, that one batch with the forge scale pattern was especially nice. The next batch was great, too. To me, they seem to capture the essence of the knife from the Nessmuk book.
