Both are tang stamped 'Schrade Walden' on 1 side - '170' on the other

1 - Sheepfoot blade 1 - Hawkbill blade
Both rounded wooden handles

Hawkbill etched "Lineman's Skinning and Scraping Knife For Removing Insulation From Copper Wire"

Neither is full tang - only go as far into handle as 2nd rivet

I also have 1 similar in really bad condition - sorriest knife I've ever seen
Handle held together with staples!!

Stamped 'Schrade Walden' and '169'
Flat wooden handle (could have been same as above and reprofiled)
Hard to tell original blade profile - Could have been sheepfoot

Anyone with ideas how these fit into the Schrade Universe??

Thanks!!

Mid to late 50's. You can find them in the catalogs on the collectors site. The Schrade-Fu Masters can probably narrow down the date because no USA imprint. Interesting etch as I've always seen them labeled as horticultural.

a couple of more pages down is the 136 showing the etch for the stripping of copper wire.
