John, that's amazing! I am not great at visualizing works in progress, but now with the handles in place I can see the different hand positions etc. That's an excellent pience of craftsmanship!

Thanks, guys! I know what you are all really thinking. With hands as nice looking as mine, why aren`t I a hand model?

The part of the handle closest to the head is contoured like my knife handles, very comfortable.

Wow, this hawk is great! Is the handle end sharp on the corners?

That took some thinking and some work to pull off. I'm impressed!
As for the hands, well, they look like they've "been there and done that". that's for sure.

No, it`s not sharpened, just beveled.

I do feel kind of bad that I can`t keep my promised ship date to pmbspyder. I promised it to ship by the 27th, but instead it will ship on Monday!

Nice! I can see a lot of uses for that tool.

So John, what to you use on your skin to keep it so soft and supple looking? :p

Holy crap! That thing looks absolutely amazing! John, you are a true master of your craft, I can't even tell you how beautiful that piece of art is! you have been one of the easiest, most professional and responsive people ive ever worked with! This hawk is a testament to your slogan "your design or mine"! Thanks to all for the nice compliments, it means a lot coming from all you well seasoned outdoor and knife aficionados. JK, as far as shipping goes, it doesn't surprise me that it would be a day early... The entire hawk is a good month ahead of schedule from when I ordered it! I can't wait to hold it in my hand, it will sleep next to me with my new ppq!
