I dont recognize these tracks. what type critters made them? I am in N Alabama.

Looks like a mink or a ferret. However not sure if they are common in Alabama...
 
nice knife. I posted here because many of the members are outdoorsmen with vast knowledge, and provide amazing advice and information. If I made a mistake by asking for info about something other than knives, I apologize.

Without any scale or print detail it’s hard to say but the fact that the tracks don’t alternate lead me to believe it’s a mink or weasel. Both common in Alabama but rarely seen.
 
I will try to get a better photo if it comes by again. tracks covered up by new snow now
 
If you're on the Tennessee River more than likely a mink, they are all over that river
 
it would help to see the individual tracks with something for size reference
fox will track like that when they trot.
mink, and similar critters track like that a lot too.
 
The snow melted before I could get a paw print. Yet based on pattern I am thinking fox and we do have a pair living nearby
