Just wondering who is currently, or has served in the military.

Myself, I joined the Marine Corps Reserves out of High School so I could attend college. Finished active reserves last year, and left as a Sergeant. Currently, I'm in the Inactive Ready Reserves and sporting a beard. ;)

So, what were you in, and what have you done? (I know I'm going to get some "weekend warrior" flak for this.)

Marine Corps 1977-1981, plus 2 in the standby reserves(minus the beard) ;)

I was going to give ya some crap about only being a reservist, but hell, ya made it through the same 3 months of hellish boot camp, so I guess I'll cut ya some slack. :)

I spent most of my time in Yuma, AZ, as an Aviation Ordnancemen.

US Army, 1983 - 1987, plus 2 years of active Reserves. Still in IRR, probably for life, but probably too old to be of interest any more...
