The handle is the only difference in these two patterns. The 218 comes in simulated pearl as well....
The 2811 on the bolster is a serial number. It tells you there were at least that many made. There might have been a run of 3000 or 5000.

I think if you store in a box (with foam), you should also place the knife in a plastic bag like they did coming out of the factory.
You can find some 7OT knives with a SCHRADE+ Stainless blade. I can't be wrong about that.
That knife is probably from the 60's or early 70's.
