Ordering a knife from crk website question

Damascus is paused currently since they have a large backlog of orders for it. They have standard inlay offerings and it would be difficult/unlikely to have an "off menu" material installed. As always calling or emailing is the best way to get a fast answer. I haven't looked at their web order...

What kind of folder do you carry?

Do you have a picture of the insides? I remember one posted long ago, but it's very low resolution.

Price for Large Regular Sebenza BG42

20+ year old tooling doesn’t exactly assemble itself. Might not even fit the machines they have now.

Price for Large Regular Sebenza BG42

I wrote a bit more, but the summary is if CRK makes the same profit producing 100 Large Regulars as 1000 Large 31s I think the 31s are a better choice based on their production model. Margin isn't everything. Let's say I had a product that I could sell to a captive market for nearly infinite...

    Mnandi nail nick.

The Mnandi is much more a "one handed knife" than any slipjoint design. It's well worth grabbing a user Mnandi and fiddling with it for a few days to see what you think. I usually use the exposed corner of the spine and jimping to push the blade open a bit, then sweep it the rest of the way.

Price for Large Regular Sebenza BG42

For what definition of crazy though? There's a balance between "that's crazy it'll be cheaper after <TIME>" and "that's not being made anymore, how long do you want to wait?" "It's worth what someone will pay" is also fairly bad advice. There might be one of something, which one person is...

Mashed Cat Sheaths and Genius carry concepts

Mummert clips work great, Ulti clips are okay but I wish they were stainless. I put all my Tek Loks in a box simply to avoid throwing them out

    Large Sebenza Geared Backspacers?

Sure. I can agree this part doesn't require anything special and I'm being a snob about materials. Let's talk about the those machining marks now.

    Large Sebenza Geared Backspacers?

Since forever. 7075 is almost universally better except it’s a bit more work. This is like using Grade 2 titanium instead of Grade 5.

    Mnandi nail nick.

I usually don’t have a problem opening the Mnandi with one hand. But it’s designed as a two handed opener. Your personal take my vary, but don’t overlook the Mnandi. It’s an excellent knife and really grows on you.
