Huckleberry pie. My grandmother's recipe. This is my single most favorite food. There are literally a few moments in my life where I think, "If I died in this moment I will die happy." Eating this is one of them.

    Introduction

Hey. (Nods chin generally in your direction) Coffee over there and beer's in the fridge. With respect to getting what you want in a CPK. They are really a very good value, and every one of them has a certain "aha" moment when you actually have it in hand. Try one and if it's still not quite...

    CPKhuk

@Lorien could you incorporate a metal or kydex spring clip in the opening to help keep the retention? I don't know anything about sheaths, so sorry if that's a dumb question.

Interesting. Does a residential automatic transfer switch have to do annual tests (like a hospital emergency backup generator for example)?

Just remember, all the stuff they make you add is to protect their system. They don't care if you get juiced, you just have to clear and disconnect from them.

I'd be surprised if the utility would allow an auto transfer switch in a residential installation. Not to mention the safety crap that's needed on them now.

    After Sale Lounge

I will not be able to hang out to watch the sale today, but I am wondering how things will go with the new, "upgraded" forum platform.... Lag time seems to be comparable to the software used at the department of motor vehicles.

Fishing, and hunting reports (share yours)

This was on a small ranch, southeast of Ekalaka. Small, meaning 20,000 acres. The landowner has another 60,000 acre piece, so.... More whitetail deer than you can imagine. Plentiful mule deer on the larger ranch. Antelope played as well.

The CPK - Buy, Sell and Trade thread

OK boys, here's the deal... Trade ONLY, not for sale. Only one knife I am interested in, Shirogorov F3 NS (new model) with bronze C.F. scales. That's it. Straight trade for this knife. We each cover our own shipping. Offering my CPK boot dagger. With a bunch of extras. Some sweet leather...

What kind of folder do you carry?

For the delicate work breasting out the bulk of the meat my index finger is along the spine, finger forward like a scalpel. This gives me lots of control to not perforate things. The breasts require slicing carefully between layers of meat and ribcage. It's awkward work because the bird wants to...

Two each. We could buy a 3rd tag, but they are kind of expensive for out of staters. We are seeing flocks of 30 birds that haven't been hunted in 2 years because if covid. Some long spot and stalk hunting, but we managed not to bump them. It all worked out.

What kind of folder do you carry?

The @Lorien roundhouse in D2 today pulled duty on processing a couple turkeys. Boned out the legs and broke down the hip joints. No issues and remains sufficiently sharp. Montana approved.
