What would you do with this knife, a thread for green river knife blades.

Thanks for the tip Hickory n steel. I think I'll also find a friend with a drill press since I don't own one and I could see myself messing up trying to bore those holes freehand.:) Ya got me inspired to order up some blades and make a few more of these.

What would you do with this knife, a thread for green river knife blades.

Nice!! I've done a handful of those myself and want to do a couple more this winter. I never thought of drilling out additional holes for pins, great idea. The swedge is a nice touch and your handle decor gives it a period like look to me. Fun project isn't it? And you get an...

    Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

This one arrived 2 days ago. Although I rarely have use for a corkscrew, I liked the blade combo, 4" closed length, and the wood scales were too attractive to pass on. I'd estimate the pull on both blades at about an 8.5, no half stops. Hopefully they will loosen up a bit in time, I don't think...

Great idea for a tread, PKJ. I'd need to go though my collection and give it a lot of thought, .... but its early morning and I've only had one cup of coffee.:) Off the top of my head these Schatt and Morgan Heritage series all bought as a group come to mind.
