Welcome to the forum
Read-There is likely everything you would ever want to know already posted here.
Pick a subject and do a search. I often use outside search engines also(that link me to BF threads)
a great way to start is to read the rules of the forum and the exchange
There us a considerable size and weight difference between the 2, and it all comes down to what you like. For me it is a small, but the large is a very nice knife, and may be a better all around folder.
If you buy on the exchange, you can always change your mind with little loss.
I doubt dealers will know in advance when their orders are going to be filled.
Be sure to ask your wife to have the baby Mon-Thurs :)
After the birth you could contact CRK to see if they completed knives on that date and what dealer they sent them to.
While I am sure the risk is pretty low, for what you are attempting to do(just get a new blue stud), I don't think it is worth money or risk. The new blue will just wear off unless this is a show piece. I have had a few std. blades done with no problem.
I didn't know they would even do a Damascus 21
This is why you would do it through a PP claim. May be add signature request and photo document all. Once you have proof of delivery PP will step in if the refund isn't made.
Of course if the seller would prefer not to have a PP claim , he could always refund 1st.
My advise would be for the 2 of you to quickly settle this. Thread chatter between you 2 is not going to help. OP wants a refund, so give it to him and be done with this.
I believe normal procedure would be for the OP to send the knife back, then get the refund. If you are worried about the...
Just goes to show it is not a perfect system, and may not tell the full story. When you can give negative feedback is limited, and even then many fear retaliatory negative feedback. This is why GBU threads are so important.
There is no guaranteed solution, but research beyond the feedback system...
I can't say to the truth of the story, but you certainly are taking extra risk(as well as breaking PP rules).
I would pass simply due to the PP rules part. I am not sure anything good can come from starting a transaction wrong.
Hopefully Scrim will get this cleared up and do the right thing
if not and you used PP G&S I would contact them. They may still be able to get the refund money back on a delivered package. It is an odd case, but I would give it a shot, if he doesn't come forward. It would be much easier all...
Toss a coin :) They are both fine knives. I personally like the Sebenza, and it is the knife the company was built on. Either will serve you well.
Be aware though that the 21 is a discontinued model and at some point parts may not be available. Once they run out, they may not make more. This...
The inlays are very nice, and though not much thicker do fill the hand a bit better on the small. The small is small. If you like smaller knives it is great. If you like larger knives it could be too small.
