In Search of Fixed Blade with CQC-8 Styled Blade...

I'm sure a lot of knife makers would do it. I'm buddies with Jared Oeser and I know he would, but I'd like to see if there was a less-expensive, manufactured option before I shell out the cash.

In Search of Fixed Blade with CQC-8 Styled Blade...

(I'm not posting this in the Emerson forum because they don't make the knife I'm looking for. I've looked.) I carry a large CQC-8 every day and love so much about it. Mostly, the style of the modified-bowie blade. I've been looking for a fixed blade with the same blade design. I'd like...

Fjallraven Polar - A Call For Help...

This is probably completely inappropriate for this forum, and I apologize if it is. Mods are more than welcome to pull this thread with no hard feelings. Having said that: I wanted to let everyone know that I am applying for the Fjallraven Polar next year. For those unfamiliar with...

    Help Finding New SHTF Knife...

Also, let me add that I've owned a Busse Battle Mistress, Bushwacker Mistress and a Cold Steel Trailmaster all of which were just too heavy and unwieldy for me. I'm a big guy, but they were all too much knife. :)

    Help Finding New SHTF Knife...

I've been looking for a long time at many MANY knives and have not found something that fits all my requirements yet. So, I thought I'd bring it to you all to get your thoughts. Here's what I'm looking for: 7-9" fixed blade. Satin (no coating). Under $200. Under a pound if possible...

Good quality (if not "best") Nessmuk style folding knife?

I've thought of that as well. For me, a four inch fixed blade, small folder (usually a Griptillian), a Wetterlings 19" axe and a Bahco folding saw will do everything I need in the woods.

Good quality (if not "best") Nessmuk style folding knife?

Sorry if I didn't make this clear, I should have asked it another way. I'm not looking for a folder with a nessmuk style (shaped) blade... I'm looking for a slip-joint style knife that George Washington Sears would have carried. Basically, who makes a great quality, traditional, two-bladed...

Good quality (if not "best") Nessmuk style folding knife?

P.S. - It has to be one I can buy fairly easily. :)

Good quality (if not "best") Nessmuk style folding knife?

It doesn't have to be exactly like his knife, but I'm looking for a good traditional two-bladed folding knife. Something I can rely on for small camp tasks and carving. Thanks gents!
