1 piece ss throwing hatchet

are those one-piece stainless steel throwing hatchets any good for throwing? They run from about $8 to $20, and seem to be a little less than 1/4 " thick. Most about 11" or so long.

don't need a "work" hatchet--just want a target practice/game kinda thing for campouts.

I have one of those all metal models. It rotates at a somewhat different rate than a real hawk, so it may not stick at the same distance per rotation. However, once you determine where it will stick, it throws pretty reliably. It just isn't as satisfying from a traditional point of view.
