112 Sheath ?

A few months back I picked up a bubble pack 110 at WalMart. At first I was less than thrilled with the nylon Cordura type sheath it came with, having always associated the 110 with a black leather sheath. However, after carrying the 110 on a belt in the horizontal position, I not only got used to it, but found I really liked it. I'm wondering if there is a similar sheath that will fit a 112 / 422? I looked on the Buck site but no luck. I have several generic nylon sheaths that will work, but none as well made as the 110's sheath which carries horizontally AND vertically. Did Buck ever make one of these sheaths for the 112?

It is possible that the leather sheath for the Folding Ergohunter Pro would fit the need, I'll have to check tonite when I get home. The 112 may be just a hare longer than the Ergohunter.

I like the nylon sheaths also.They don't stick out as far on the belt.

The Folding Ergohunter Pro sheath will house the 112 and it is a horizontal carry. The length is fine, but a 112 rattles around a little because it is not as wide at the rear bolster as the base of the 598.

Thanks for that info. Will try to hunt one down. Haven't checked the website, but will see if Buck has them 4 sale. Still looking for a Cordura though.

Oh, oops, I guess I didnt read well as always. A 450 sheath fits a 112 perfect-that is what my ecolite 112 came with.

just off the phone with Buck. The 450 sheath carries both ways. Thanks for the input.

Oh yeah, I guess I wasnt clear on that, but thats why I recommended it. It appears more and more sheaths are dual carry. I was surprised when my new Dorado leather sheath was only one way.

I have a 112 that came in a Tin that came with a nylon sheath. Just like the 110s have. It was the Hoyt Buck Founders edition.
