This knife donated it's blade to a Shedua scaled sister knife, and to re-pay the old girl I decided to splurge on a Dami steel blade:D
It took a little bit of work to the lockbar to get it to fit being the new style blade, but every second of the work was worth it.

Thanks to Eric at Arksknives who answered a post way back on how to remove a blade/pivot pin:thumbup:
and Thanx to Jerad at JAG Knives for the nudge to go this route:thumbup:

Enjoy, and Thanx for looking!

If I made that beautiful blade I would put a tang stamp worthy of it...Look a the feather dammy 112.....Sooo Nice!!I hope I can commission a over sized DP blade full custom 112.... in 2012.. Black stone with silver inlays, coin silver engraver bolsters....$500.00 up one of a kind showpiece for my collection ...Drummond,Leroy,snake River,Arc AND DY...A man can dream....

That's an interesting sheath also. It appears to be the same design as the horizontal 110 sheath that Buck offered at one time.

Yes, it is quite similar to the pics I have seen of the Buck horizontal sheath. It is rivet construction. I found it on the Bay.I can get you info if you are interested.

Really nice thanks for sharing, you guys are unbelievable with skill and idea's, I am suppose to reduce my amount of knives but seeing everybody's idea's and knives just makes it tougher and tougher. Great Job

VERY cool! Nice work! Some day soon I hope to undertake a restoration project, and I can only HOPE that my attempts turn out nearly as nicely. You're an inspiration, sir!

Thanx guys, it is fun to share my work like this. I started out getting an old beater 112 , mostly for nostalgia, and cleaning it up. Then another came along. Pretty soon I was hooked. I love peeling off the layers of hard use and watching a thing of beauty emerge in my hands. I started carrying my 112's and have re-discovered what a remarkable knife this is.
It is truly my favorite model.
