Does anyone know how many different buildouts were done using the D2 steel, 118 blade? I will soon have my third version and I'd like to know if there were others? I have one with phenolic, stag and now Charcoal Dymondwood.

Are there any others that you know of?

I used a couple of the 118 D2's over the last few weeks processing our deer harvest. All I have done in the way of sharpening them is stropping on an old leather belt, and they both keep on going.

Just the standard phenolic version.

Sorry, don't know about others. I wish they would have been 121's in D2...:D

Way to go Plumber that will make a nice set . DM

It will also go good with this 119 Charcoal Dymondwood with the ATS34 blade.

I hope Joe doesn't mind, but I am using his picture of the 118 until I get mine and take my own.

Maybe I should have a combination sheath made to fit both of them together?

Me two Ratty.

I noticed that the Charcoal D2's have 2 different tang stamps on the back. I have one like the one Joe sold and one marked only D2 on the rear tang.
