i think i remember someone on here looking for a 14 OT if so there is one at auction at our favorite place to cut down. price is high but after it sits there awhile he might be willing to negotiate. speaking of high prices, wow, the prices some of these guys are asking far are way out of line for the value of the blades offered. some have incorrect info with them also.
 
I don't know what site you're referring to, but I bought a 14OT about a month ago at a particular For Sale site. Yes, I paid too much and likely could have bought it cheaper on eBay. But I was impatient and knew this example to be perfectly like-new in it's original box.

So maybe I'm a sucker, but at least I'm a sucker who has a 14OT now. :D
 
It will sell for his starting price tomorrow, but it won't get a lot of action. Someone might pull the trigger. That knife could easily auction for more than the BIN price if the seller had some balls.
 
This End of Days version set me back a whopping $31 back in 2005. Those were the good 'ol days. :D

This was a nice NIB one. And really, the price was fair considering the MSRP of a similar modern made knife NIB.

I don't know about that. A brand new 14OT costs $25 at Amazon. :rolleyes: :D

I bet this auction item went to a serious collector who 'needed' an original. :thumbup:
 
Those crazy collectors. They could have a whole closet full of Asian copies for what a couple of American made originals cost. I think I still have a 14OT NIB like that. If I didn't sell it winter before last.

No, not me that bought it. I was just guessing someone would. I don't collect fixed blades at all. I buy them sometimes to resell later, so out of my range too.
 
come on hal, a whole wall of fix blades.... it would beat the wall paper your wife put up. (lol):)
oh yea , those 13 and14 ot's are a work of art, hold one and you'll love it.
