Here's another good 15 inch AK by Durba -- fairly lightweight -- about 1.25 pounds. Good effort by Durba. Good karda and chakma.

Good scabbard and 100 year HI superfrog. Problem is the scabbard has a tear in the back -- about an inch long. Rubber cement and some Kiwi will fix this one. Should last 100 years.

We'll deliver this rig to your door for $75 -- $50 saving off perfect rig price.

Call or email if interested.

Woo-hoo. This will be my first khukri and I can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks much.

Nice Grab Samhell:)

I think you'll really like the 15" Ak. And when that one is "just a little too small for...." Uncle will be ready with a bigger one, just a mouse click away!!:D

Enjoy! and read the FAQ when you get a chance for important safety and handle care information. Not to mention tons of cool info on khuks and the guys who make them.

And,Welcome to the Cantina:D

AAGHH!! I've just ordered my first one and I'm already thinking maybe I need an 18" or a 20" too. LOL

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've been lurking for a while and ya'll seem like a real fun bunch.:)

You know, this gets me wondering honestly, what would the kamis reactions be if they knew that each individual kami has his own admirers in the U.S. and elsewhere. Let's say for example, some of the forumites have their own preferences on who their favorite kami is. For some it might be Durba, for others it might be Kesar and for many others either Sanu or Bura. Just a thought anyway..

I thought Durba left.

I'm betting that even though he left, we will still see Durba's pop up from time to time. Old stock maybe or the shipping staff is hiding them.:p Uncle?

Although it's nice to know who made the knife, in the end I don't think it really matters IMHO. It's the fit and finish and function that matters most I think.

Pala and Uncle make sure the quality is there no matter who does the work.

But the name of the maker is a nice added bonus. :)

If the knife has the flag mark and old scabbard it's almost sure to be Durba's work. Flag with new scabbard is Kesar.

Pala is back in Nepal and I'm wondering if he'll even remember to start the signature rather than sign project. He'll be jetlagged out for about 5 or 6 days.
