I've been watching Roger Linger's scandi knives like mad on Shop Talk while waiting for this order to come up. Just waiting on sheath specs to hand to Tess & sharpen. I hope I did it justice. It felt really weird not bringing the grind all the way to the top.

The knife is 8 1/2" long (total length) with a 275 layer twist in 1084/15N20, 4mm at it's thickest tapering to just over 2mm at the tip. The handle is stabilized Eucalyptus Burl with black liners, mosaic pins & a stainless lanyard.

I love it! It looks like a real 'user' yet one that will continually make the owner give it an admiring look before getting down to business.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! Handle and blade compliment one another very well. Temper is right:

I agree 100%.

All the best,
Mike U.

Great looking knife, with gorgeous wood too, I'm always amazed at how some makers will make a nice knife, but skimp on the wood/pearl/ivory etc, which ruins it for me, but you arent one of them obviously. :)
