It has been field tested by Pit so has a few stains on the grinds.

.220 thick 8670m tool steel, dual grinds. Scandi on rear and convex on front.

I grew up with a saying " You can't have your cake and eat it too !", stupid saying I know but what it meant was you can't have it always.
In the case of this knife though I believe you can !

This thing is a beast, you could pry till the cows come home and not break this thing and yet it cuts like a laser. The sharp convexed grind will zip through meat etc if using it for food prep or skinning and the awesome scandi section makes fuzz sticks and trap triggers a piece of cake.
I also mentioned to Mark that the handle is probably the comfiest knife handle I've ever held.
