I have been wanting to get a Zero Tolerance for a long time and finally pulled the trigger and got a ZT 560. Very impressive knife. Below is a video of the knife.

Damn. You're lucky. I hate to see people snagging these so early, yet people who pre-ordered last year some time still havn't gotten their's. Oh well, congrats to you. The dealer in which you refer to in your video must have gotten the whole first batch of these or something. That's where I keep seeing people say they got their's from, and your's is a very low serial number.

BTW. I'm super jealous, but thank you for your video.

EDIT: Just a request. Could you perhaps do a video or some pictures of the knife in your pocket? I'd love to see how low it rides, wether or not it makes the pocket sag with jeans or cargo pants. Also, be cool to see some "in use" shots aswell. Even if it's just cutting paper or something. These are just some things I havn't seen yet, and think it'd be great. Thanks.

Hey just curious if you have any sharp edges on handle or mine was a fluke?

The handle feels pretty good to me. I jimping is a little harder cut than I usually like. The only real issue is the jimping on top behind the flipper. When flipping open, my finger can get caught on the jimping. I used my Sharpmaker white stone to slightly round the edges and it helps a lot.

That's what I did as well. It's sooo much better now!

Thanks for the response. May do it to 561 if I keep it. Just a pet peeve of mine to have to on a new knife.

You seem to be dwelling on the sharpness with the spine jimping here and on other threads. Sorry the 0560 didn't work out for you.

We'll look to do a running change and perhaps putting the parts into the vibratory a tad longer to soften things up. We good here?

Thanks Thomas, I've harped on it because of lack of response. Seems like you would want the best offering possible too, instead of folks quietly putting up with things.... If me being a bit overbearing gets folks a better product, then I say good. Sorry I am not a passive fanboy. Oh and yes we are good:)

Wish Thomas would weigh in on the 551/550 stiff detent issue and shut us up!

I don't like acting out much. Makes me feel ungrateful!

Not everyone has the stiff detent issue. I wouldn't want the detent on my 0550 any less. I find by pushing from the bottom of the thumb stud up towards the top (with no outward push) the detent is perfect. If I use any outward push on the thumb stud it is considerably harder to open.

Perhaps there is a lack of response because I don't see a need to respond to a "problem" with one sample of a given knife. I'm not here to hand walk folks through the likes and dislikes of every knife people critique.

Where have I said otherwise?

I just have to roll my eyes when you have a member with a pet peeve, going around to every related thread with their broken record.

The name of this thread included the word "awesome". Instead of chiming in with the OP's awesomeness, you come in with a non-awsome reply...again.

If me being a bit overbearing gets folks a better product, then I say good.
Yea, we all owe you.

Oh and yes we are good:)
Oh good.

Excellent customer care Thomas thanks!
I'm unsure what you want bobnery? I addressed your specific issue, gave you credit for it, let you know I didn't care for your playing the same song over and over, and told you I wasn't going to be there for everyone with every request they had.

Best I can figure is you don't like the tone of my words. I can't help you with that.

You don't think I give good customer care and better I'm not here bobnery?

One sample? I count three samples on this page that concur about sharp edges, and since the knife is currently limited to who has it in hand, and limited even more to who has it in hand and posts here, I'd say 3 is a fair percentage. Also who knows if the few other posters here who have it, have noticed the same, and just haven't said anything? As for your remarks I find them a bit whimsical and that's why I make light of them. You probably could have quelled my posts sooner by stating something like

We'll look to do a running change and perhaps putting the parts into the vibratory a tad longer to soften things up.

on my intial thoughts thread rather than the reply you posted.
