2 New Hunters

I finished these up yesterday.
Top is 600 layer with blued mild steel, Ironwood. 5" blade
Bottom is 225 layers with matching hardware and a walrus ivory handle. 4" blade.

I like em! Especially the fitting treatment on the wooden handled knife. Is that a layer of nickel in there?
 
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You make some of the cleanest hunters I've ever set my eyes on. Those are just perfect.:thumbup::thumbup:
 
Two more great hunters. It's always good to see makers still putting such effort into the making of hunting knives in these days where the bigger knives are so popular.

Thanks guys for the nice comments, these 2 will ship out as soon as I get the leather work finished.

Lorien - yes thats a piece of N/S slipped in there.

Kevin Jones - I like making the bigger knives too, but big or little, a collector piece or a user, I just enjoy making them and give all the same amount of attention. ;)
