Steven and I hoped we would have them in you hands by today, but with Queen getting them to me a couple of days ago and me sans achilles (for the moment ;). The gang is going to have to settle for pics.

I opened the box and picked 4 of the puppies at random. Queen did us right. They may have been late, but they did a great job.

All 4 knives had excellent action and the fit and finish is right there along with the looks.

I think a bunch of folks are going to be happy. :D It made my day to be able to take a good peek and take these shots. That is a U.S. quarter for size comparison. This is not a dainty knife by any means, but it will ride easy in the pocket.

Here is the group of 4. Pretty nice huh?

Mine too:thumbup: by about the same distance.

That is about it for pics. :D. It took over an hour to get what I got. ;)

They are terrific looking, way beyond what this mountain boy even imaged. Thanks for showing and a big thanks for letting me in on the original order. Get well soon.

Very nice! Thanks for the pictures.

WOW those look great Gus!!
The Stag looks fantastic! The 2 blade shapes fit perfect in this pattern. And the stamped bolsters really complete the whole package.
Man I can't wait to give this baby a try out. :D (no I'm not buggin you to hurry)
I once again would like to Thank the secret Stag benefactor. :) He really made this project POP!!!

Thanks again to STeven, Gus & secret stag man,

Dave

:thumbup:Great lookin' knives

....one of these years I'll get in on this

Congrats to all that got these.

Outstanding looking knives Gus. Excellent work all round.

Not bad pics for an old crippled bugger either. ;) :D

Seriously though, a top effort from all concerned.

Hey, I just noticed, on the box it says they use natural gas for the forging. Does this mean they have a huge shed out the back full of people eating lots of beans?

:D

.

oh wow. I think I just drooled a little on my keyboard. Count me in as one of those who kick themselves for not signing up for one of those. Congratulations to those who are receiving them.

Great pictures, Gus! These knives look GREAT!

I'll take the one at very the top of the first photograph.. :p ;) :D

LOVE the pics. These knives also exceeded my own expectations. This has been a fun process to witness. I could never have predicted the outcome from the first votes. Kind of neat that so many people got a collective say in the decision making.

Many thanks to STeven, Gus, the anonymous stag donor and of course Queen. And thanks for the glam shots, Gus. They look fantastic!

With both Queen and Schatt & Morgan tang stamps, are we looking at the first Scheen? Quatt? Quargan?

That is absolutely stunning. You guys did a fantastic job.
I hope you do something similar next year. I will definitely be wanting one.
If you find that there is an extra in this batch...
