Just a thought, but I think it should be a pattern that hasn't been done yet. I believe these have been done since '06, so there's now 4 of them.
1. Sleeveboard, but I could be wrong on the name. This was before I got into the Traditional Forum, but I think it was stag & D2.
2. Cannitler, so it was similar to a Canoe (Still have mine). Ivory & D2.
3. Stockman. Stag & 1095.
4. Barlow (2 equal blades). Stag & D2.
I believe the 1st one was smallish (Maybe between 3-3.5"). The Cannitler kind of hit 2 birds/patterns at one shot (Canoe/Whittler) & was 3 5/8". The Stockman was on the small size & I believe it was 3.25". The Barlow's at 3.5".
I would think a Peanut or Muskrat might be interesting, or go the other way & a Trapper or Jack pattern in the 3.5-4" range would be nice.
Also, if you recall when we did the '09 knife, I believe the 2 more popular patterns were the Barlow & a Jack. But there was the issue of # of quality manufacturers that could make the knife.
Personally, I'd like to see a nice Trapper or Jack design with 1095 or D2 blade, but that's me. While stag is nice, I believe 2 or 3 of the 4 knives have been stag. A nice jigged micarta would be nice, but I'm also fine with jigged bone (Or some neat patterned bone) or even wood.
A med. Trapper would be nice or a slim Trapper (Longer, but because of its slimness, should carry well).
