I have just recently won a brand new 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Leatherman Wave. I was just wanting to know are these collectors items? What would be the value of it?

Also I have a brand new Leatherman Super Tool 200 that I don't need. What would be a fair price for it?

Thanks,
Darrell

I've seen two different 20th Anniversary Waves: one has black coated handles only, and is fairly common; the other was a limited run of (I think) 500 that were 100% black-finished. The latter came in a felt-lined wooden presentation box, and should fetch a LOT more $$$!

Gryffin thanks for responding.

158 views and 1 response.

Can someone please tell me if there is a better knife forum than this one.

Thanks,
Darrell

Don't give up on us quite yet 01Foreman400. The "158 views" were probably lots of folks checking out the content of the thread, but who didn't have anything to add to Gryffin's response.

He is absolutely correct, Leatherman made a whole bunch of the "standard" 20th anniversary Waves. I actually do not know how many, but they are not terribly hard to obtain from a number of internet sources.

However, that being said, they do look pretty cool and unusual. And I know I'm the only kid on my block who has one!:)

The real collector version 20th anniversary Wave is the all-black Tim Leatherman signature model. As Gryffin states, it came in a wood presentation case, along with some sort of certificate of authenticity. I've only seen two, and the going price was over $300.

...........which was more money than I had in my pocket that day.:grumpy:

Hi Darrell,

I paid $50 for the 20th that you have and $370 for the all black limited 20th Wave. Hope this helps.
