I believe that Mossberg and Marlin may still make a semi-auto .22RFM with a clip/magazine. Does any one still make a .22 RFM BOLT ACTION with a TUBE magazine? I don't think any US makers make a tube magazine bolt action .22 rinfire at all any more. What do you .22 RFM fans use?

Are you talking about .22LR or .22 Winchester Magnum (.22WMR)? Your designation is a bit confusing. Marlin has several offering in both calibers that are bolt action's with tubular magazines.

Marlin doesn't make their .22 Mag in semi-auto any more.

I've had more Marlin bolt actions than any other brand. The fit and finish is just nicer than what you get on other guns in the same price range or less. It's not to say that the others won't shoot though. I've had several Savage's in .22, .22WMR, and .17HMR and they all shot extremely well.

For less than $500, it's almost impossible to beat the CZ line of bolt action rimfire rifles. Fit, finish, and performance are OUTSTANDING.

I've shot a couple of Ruger 77/22's in LR and WMR too, and they were really nice.

If you like lever actions, the Henry line of rimfires is pretty sweet too. I've only shot the base model ($250 or so) but it is a tack driver.

Do you mean 22 WRF (.22 special)? If so, any 22 WMR rifle will fire them. Although, good luck finding a reliable source of ammo. CCI has made a limited runs of it as of late, but that's it. If you're referring to .22 WMR (.22 magnum) then as cramsey3006 and loosearrow indicated, there is no shortage of rifle configurations and ammo loads on the commercial market.

i've got a savage 63 single shot bolt with the .22 mag barrel (and i also have the .22LR barrel)...the only new .22 rifle i would ever consider buying now is a henry .22 mag (esp in the octagon barrel)

.22 mags are fun to shoot when you want a little more pop than a Long Rifle round...
