26 thru 30 - Five K-TUSKs in stabilized woods

Ticking right along....finished these up...feeling great and on time for delivery for the Blade Show!


Have a look:

All are S30V, 5/32" thick, drop point style blade. All have fiber liners, 2 corby pins and a mosaic pin. :thumbup:

From the top:

Curly Maple

S30V? Nice.

How is it compared to D2? (from a knifemaker's point of view). Will they be more pricey than D2 models?

I don't really like the liner though, what is it for?

Anyway, that's what I want for Christmas

S30V has more stainless content than D2. Equally tough and better wear resistance.

For me, it's the best stainless. Some don't like it because it doesn't mirror polish. I personally don't mirror polish anyway...so, it's great for me.
