Hi!
Apparently the steel in the bracelet for many watches (the Omega I have in the mail, for example) is something called 316L.
What is this, and why does it scratch SO easily?
Not that I'd want to, but is it possible to harden and temper it? I suppose a nice finish would have to be reapplied, too
What about a boron carbide coating?
Thanks!
