3M 784f belts

I personally hate the ceramic norax belts. Maybe they're alright on a surface grinder, but I find them to just glaze over and make a lot of heat.
My roughing belts are Norton r999b in 36, and Norton red heat in 60 and 120. I haven't seen them outside of Canada yet, but they are by far the best I've found with how I grind. I find I get a bit more life with a lot less heat compared to blaze, and they cost about half of what cubitrons would up here, almost on par with vsm. Nearly double the life of vsm for around the same price in my experience.
I rather love the klingspor yellow jflex belts myself, but admittedly part of that is they are the cheapest option where I am. I do find them to last noticeably better than the others I've tried though.
I refuse to buy anything Hermes, mainly because I got a batch from them with bad splices. Every single one blew apart, it was like running 30 year old belts. Stabbed myself in the palm (stuck in a bone instead of going clean through) with a fillet knife one of those times, so I'm a bit bitter about them.
I've changed my mind a few times on structured belts. I started with norax, then went to jflex, then to gators, and now I'm back to jflex for everything again. More expensive per knife, but I just find I get a better result and prefer working with them.
