I posted this in the Shoptalk section as a followup on a previous thread.

It's a 4.5" Bose "Backpocket" Pattern, D2 blade/spring, 14" hollow ground, Rc61(Wilfred Works HT), Half stopped and flushed, 410 SS liners/bolsters, bronze/aluminum pivot bushing.

Kerry, that looks great. Well done!!!

I am very impressed for what little that is worth. Great job Kerry.

Looks Great Kerry. Is that a #5 on the blade? That isnt your fifth folder is it Kerry?

I wondered when someone would catch that.;) I've made 3 other folders that were NOT stamped. 2 of those were BPs. The ones that I have stamped with numbers don't indicate the order in which they are made.

This blade/spring set was made the same time that 2 other sets were made and I stamped them 3, 4, and 5. I showed them all to a good friend of mine and let him pick which set he wanted me to use for his knife. That's why #5 got "clothed" before #3 and #4. Now don't that make sense. :D It's the folksy knifemakin way;)

That knife is georgeous. The antique bone is quite a treat. I bet the new owner is thrilled to be getting it. A trusted friend he'll carry the rest of his life.

Wow, what a great looking knife! Clean, clean, clean.
I really like how the half stop sits flush with the bolsters - nice detail.
